You pay for the AI tokens you use. That's it.
$1 paid = $1 of Ulearn Credits. Credits are consumed only when you use AI features. No subscriptions, no monthly fees, no expiry.

New accounts get free starter credit applied automatically at signup, while spots last:
- The first 50 sign-ups get $3 of credit (claimed).
- The next 200 sign-ups get $1 of credit.
- After that, the promo ends and new users top up from $1.
Your spot is assigned the first time you visit while signed in — earlier sign-ups get the bigger grant.

How much does a quiz cost?
It depends on the video length and which AI model handles the request, but in practice quizzes typically cost a few cents each. Most casual users go through a $3 starting credit slowly. Power users who generate quizzes for long lectures every day might use $1–$3 per week.
If you want to see exactly what you've spent, your Account tab shows a live total of credits used and tokens consumed.
Buying credits
- Top up any amount between $1 and $500 per purchase.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other cards Stripe supports in your region.
- Credits land in your account within seconds of a successful payment.
- Unused credit can be refunded within 14 days — see the Commercial Disclosure.
